Prior to joining Harbor View, Carolyn was a partner with The Kern Company, a privately held real estate investment and development group. Her responsibilities included raising equity and debt financing and managing the investment process. During her tenure with The Kern Company, Carolyn participated in the acquisition and development of approximately 2,000 acres of industrial, commercial and mixed-use property.

Prior to joining The Kern Company, Carolyn spent 17 years on Wall Street. From 1993 until 2005, she worked for Goldman, Sachs & Co. in the investment banking and equities divisions. Carolyn was responsible for developing Goldman’s relationships with a number of the firm’s largest clients in New York, London, Paris, Singapore and Los Angeles. Most recently she served as Vice President of institutional sales with a client base whose assets under management exceeded $300 billion. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Carolyn spent five years with Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette in trading and marketing.

Carolyn holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and French from Dickinson College and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Chicago.
